Meet Caitlin
Having grown up in a real estate family, I always knew that I wanted to be a real estate agent myself. I was raised in the Covington-Maple Valley area and moved to the Tacoma area when I was in high school. Having been raised in the South Puget Sound, I am one of those unique individuals who is a local through-and-through. This area is beautiful with so much to offer in terms of recreation and economic opportunity and I am thrilled to help others own a piece of it.
The real estate market is affected by a number of outside influences in the economy. My bachelor’s degree in economics from Whitman College in Walla Walla allows me to identify whether a market change in one sector will affect the local market. This information is invaluable to my buyer and seller clients.
My father, Jerry Mahan, has always been my mentor. I learn real estate lessons from him every day and glean all I can from his massive wealth of knowledge when it comes to real estate. Residential resale, land sales, and new construction knowledge is at my fingertips. I also have worked for Northwest EcoBuilding Guild as a research assistant which allowed me to take a closer look at sustainable building practices. My determination and fortitude along with my love of research and tech savvy are a benefit to my clients as we help them achieve their goals.
In my spare time, I enjoy riding horses, hiking, skiing as much as possible, and walking my dog, Barley. I have travelled all over the world and I am looking forward to helping people right here in Washington, a place where I believe we have a little bit of everything to offer.
